The breakfast spread is generous, though it's mostly Chinese food. I really liked this older hotel: comfortable, clean, and quiet, even when room doors closed. From my room, I could see the river and catch the sunset at an angle. Service was great. They quickly extended checkout to accommodate a handicap and gave us a spacious handicapped room with a wonderful river view and good air conditioning.

The staff were great, and the rooms are large. The place feels like it's 30 or 40 years old. Breakfast was mostly Chinese, with toast as the European touch.

The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but the rooms are spacious and they do keep refurbishing it, which is good. The shower area could use an upgrade, especially a better angle for the showerhead holder.

I've stayed here a few times and have been very happy each time. The rooms are generous in size and very clean, and the staff are pleasant and polite. Breakfast is pretty good for something included in the package, with fresh, nicely prepared food. There's free parking and bicycles, and it's an easy 10 minute drive to the town center. Excellent value, and I'd recommend it.

The interior is astounding and the rooms are fine, but we found lots of tissues under the beds, which hadn't been cleaned. We also had a hard time sleeping. A group of ten partied loudly in one room, then tried kicking doors to see which would open. If you want a quiet night, I guess you'll need better luck than we had.
