The room’s clean linens and comfortable sheets were a nice touch, and its minimalist decor and clean lines made for a calm break after the sensory-rich streets of Anping. Anping’s stylish visual identity fits Tainan’s modern creative atmosphere well. The property is also useful for historical research, about a 15-minute walk from Anping Old Fort and several other attractions. The shower window is a major design problem. The blinds don’t block the view from the public park outside, which affects privacy and makes it hard to feel comfortable. The room also lacks basic things found at similar boutique stays, like coffee or tea bags, so there’s no easy way to enjoy a slow Tainan-style morning. Laundry is outsourced, with no facilities on site.

The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the bed comfortable. It’s right next to the river, a convenient spot for a peaceful stroll. Building two has a small pool on the second floor. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the place. Thank you!

We were in Tainan for an event and found this cheap hotel a week beforehand, within 4km of the venue. There’s enough room for two people, but bikes aren’t allowed in the rooms, so you have to leave them in the lobby or garden. I wouldn’t recommend it for bikers.
