I had a pleasant stay and don’t really get the negative reviews. The staff were kind and accommodating, took feedback seriously, and even gave me treats to take along after I left. My room was clean, and the WiFi and water both worked fine. The location is central, close to local restaurants, YouBike stations, and the train station. Thanks for having me. I’d highly recommend it and would love to return to Tainan.

We could leave our bags before check-in and after check-out while we carried on exploring Tainan, which helped a lot. The rooms were comfortable, and the place is clearly new. It was also a very good price and in a great location. From what I could see, most of the bad reviews were about opening issues that have mostly been sorted out.

The view from our window was awful, and the location wasn’t great, though it sits between the train station and the Western District. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated, with modern, well-done fittings. Check-in was overly complicated, and the 8 digit door code made getting into the room harder than it needed to be.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. We paid $4800 per night for two nights during the soft opening, and the place clearly wasn’t ready. Things were unfinished, and construction workers kept walking back and forth. I understand we were there before the full launch, but the hotel still charged us that rate. Both trip.com and Agoda said parking was free, which turned out to be untrue. Free parking was one of the main reasons we booked it. Since the facilities weren’t complete and the listing didn’t match what we got, I think management should reimburse part of what we paid. Our whole holiday was ruined. I’d tell people not to stay here or even give it a try.
