I stayed four nights in a superior double room, which was huge, easily big enough for two double beds. The place was clean, and I happened to meet one of the cleaning staff at check-in. She was very enthusiastic. The bed was soft but surprisingly comfortable, even for a light sleeper like me. My family couldn’t believe how well I slept. I don’t know why either, I just slept so well as soon as I got into bed 😂. The bathroom had strong water pressure, plenty of hot water, shampoo, and shower gel. The downside was a foul sewer smell in the bathroom after a night. It wasn’t overpowering, but it bothered my sensitive nose, so I took off one star. I hope it won’t happen next time. I reported it online and got a quick reply, but I’ll have to see whether it’s fixed when I stay again. I found this B&B while looking for a place in Tainan on Agoda, then checked online and saw some good reviews. I called to ask about availability and was lucky to get a room. The price was a little better than Agoda’s, though I had to pay the full amount at once. It turned out to be self-check-in and check-out, but Line sent clear details about the essentials, including check-in and parking. Ask before booking whether there’s a dedicated parking space. The B&B is about 1.2 kilometers from Guohua Street, 1.7 kilometers from Huayuan Night Market, and just 200-300 meters directly behind the B&B. It’s convenient for getting around. If you need to do laundry, Dale is a clean, 24-hour self-service laundry about a six-minute walk away. On the main road, it’s the third shop on the left. I went into more detail than I meant to, but the stay was comfortable and convenient.
