I stayed there with my Mom in mid-March 2019. The place was nice and clean, and some of the loveliest people in Taiwan looked after us. The owner couple were very kind and helpful, and their two handsome boys were cute. There was some construction nearby, so it was likely to be noisy for at least the next few months.

We stayed for the weekend of the Fucheng half marathon, about a ten-minute walk away. The rooms have a playful, kid-focused style but work just as well for adults. The owners were friendly, and we had a really nice stay. Recommended!

There’s no breakfast, which is pretty much the only downside. The place is a little out of the way, but it’s quiet nearby, with a harbour just around the corner and restaurants in the area. Ninao Gelato is only 500m away, and the Dutch fortress is close too. If you’re traveling with kids, they’ll love the decorations. Animation fans should take time to look around.
