The room was very small, with a mattress on the floor instead of a bed. Water didn't drain properly from the shower, and the room had a really unpleasant smell that meant it needed constant airing. There were odd holes in the walls for cables, and the whole place felt bleak. The accommodation photos and listing didn't match what we found. I also felt watched. The owners monitor guests through a camera in the living room and would message on WhatsApp right away if something wasn't to their liking. The advertised discount was the most misleading part: it suggested a unique deal, but soon felt artificially presented. This was my worst accommodation experience in a very long time of traveling.

The location is great, the place has been renovated recently, and charging cables are provided. But, Boss, at nearly $3000 a night the room feels much too small 😂 Its unusual shape makes it feel oppressive as well as cramped. The bathroom smelled bad, the pillows weren't comfortable, and there was no hand soap by the sink. At almost $3000 per night, those things stand out. I don't think you're running the place carelessly, so I wanted to share honest feedback 🙏

The owners were so welcoming, and the guesthouse felt comfortable and homey. It's just around the corner from a food street and a busy shopping area, which made it easy to find places to eat and shop. The room had a full set of quality amenities, with a lot of care put into the details. Even the drinking water tasted clean and refreshing, with no odd flavor. I'd happily come back 💕

Tucked into a quiet alley, the guesthouse is close to Guohua Street and right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. It's convenient during the day and peaceful at night. The place was clean and comfortable, the owners were very welcoming, and there was a cute little dog there too. The soft water was a real plus.
