A clean, quiet, well-situated stay at a reasonable price, as long as you don’t expect much from breakfast. My room was peaceful, probably thanks to the concrete walls, despite seeing noise complaints. The building is a little old, but it’s kept very clean, and the room was spacious compared with typical rooms in Japan. Staff at the counter were polite and helpful. It’s near a morning market that could be a good breakfast option, since the 9th-floor breakfast wasn’t tasty and seemed like leftovers. It was edible, just not a highlight. There was no iron in my room.

There was an odd smell in the bathroom, and the room smelled a little moldy on the first day. The kitchen lady at breakfast was unkind and not polite.

The room was comfortable, in good shape, and clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Tainan train station and near the temple, though there’s no English hotel sign.

Free parking and the breakfast buffet made things very convenient. The room and bathroom were both nice, clean, and tidy, and the front desk staff did their best to help us. It’s a cozy hotel near Tainan main station. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to South.

10/10
I’ve stayed in Tainan many times, and this hotel is a solid value. I’d rate it 9.6 for overall value and experience. It’s within walking distance of the train station, with lots of places to visit nearby. The staff were excellent: they handled a mistake that could’ve been a big problem at other hotels without issue. Clean, quiet, and priced just right.
