amba TAIPEI XIMENDING

Andrew was a huge help with arranging transport to a local museum, and he even checked in afterward. When I checked out, Claire walked down the street with me because I had a lot of luggage. She made sure I was safe and that my airport ride could find me, then waited and spoke with the driver to help him locate me. It was third-party transport, not arranged through the hotel, so I really appreciated her taking that extra time. The staff were phenomenal, and I had a great stay at Amba. The city-center location was amazing, with lots to see, and breakfast had a nice variety. I’d highly recommend the hotel 😊

I work remotely, and the hotel had fast, reliable wifi and comfortable desks that worked well for evening work. The rooms were quiet and comfortable even with the busy area outside, and I could properly relax once I was in. They’re thoughtfully designed too. amba Ximending puts you right among Taipei’s shopping, food, and nightlife, so exploring on foot was easy. The hotel is stylish and simple to get around, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’d happily stay here again.

Ximending’s busy streets, with all their food and drink options, and Ximen metro are both within walking distance. There’s also a restaurant in the hotel, and I enjoyed its western food and breakfast. I stayed with my family in August and had an amazing time. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and felt luxurious. Netflix worked without lag 😆, and getting food delivered was easy, though you do need to collect it at the counter. The staff were friendly and meticulous. I’d definitely recommend staying here on a trip to Taiwan. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Breakfast had a nice DIY selection, and the hotel felt like good value for money, though it costs a little more than budget hotels. Staff were polite and helpful. On my last day they helped with my luggage and walked me to the taxi. Amba Ximending was very comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and well soundproofed, and the location is handy, a short walk from Ximen Station but slightly away from the main crowd. One drawback is that the air-conditioning doesn’t have a heater.
