Cai She Hotel

The price was cheap, the room was clean, and it even had a bathtub. Staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping came daily. There are lots of TV channels, Zhongshan Elementary School Station is within walking distance, and plenty is close by, including a 24-hour eatery, 7-11, family mart, carrefour, and other convenience stores. There were some hassles. The reception desk is on level 3, while at night there were a few random people on level 1 and no security guard on duty. My desk was dusty and the wallpaper was peeling. The shower head had no holder, which made showering awkward, and the fridge was a bit loud. The air-conditioning temperature didn’t seem to work, possibly because of the centralized cooling system. It was 9-12 degrees Celsius during my stay, and I caught a cold by the end. I could hear doors opening and people chatting or coming back in the middle of the night. Housekeeping items piled up beside my door, and the small balcony by my corner-room window was also full of them, which looked messy. Still, it was a good stay for the low price, so I can’t complain too much.

The room was large with comfortable beds, and the staff were very friendly. They were able to add a proper extra bed for our family of five, not just a rollaway. There was a street market right around the corner, and we enjoyed our stay.

Cai She Hotel made a good impression with its warm, friendly staff. They were accommodating throughout, and there were snacks and refreshments set out by the elevators on every floor. Great touch!

The staff at reception were friendly and professional, and the rooms were large and relatively clean. It’s about a five-minute walk to the orange line station, and finding local food was always easy with a night market nearby.
