The hotel feels warm and stylish, and my room was nicely furnished with its own hot tub. The Wi-Fi worked great, and I thought the price was fair for a stay like this. I especially appreciated the free rides around the area. Xiao Hu and Sam took us to the hot spring and picked us up from Xinbitou station, and even suggested places to see around Taiwan. Getting farther afield can be a challenge, though. The hotel isn't very accessible by bus, and places outside the drivers' service, like Yangmingshan, are difficult to reach. I'd still recommend it for a relaxing getaway if you're up for walking and a bit of adventure.

A weekday 1.5-hour rest costs 1800, so whether the price feels justified is really up to you. The rooms are a little newer because the building is new, but they otherwise feel like regular hotel rooms. For an ordinary hot spring hotel, the spring water seems to be the main selling point.

The room comes with an onsen, which is handy, especially if you're bringing children and don't want to pack lots of things. The facility was clean. There's a discount for checking in after 10 AM, though breakfast isn't included.

The staff were particularly polite and friendly, and breakfast in the morning was served in a dining room that felt homey. It's a peaceful, quiet place. Since it recently opened, the facilities are all modern.
