Housekeeping refreshed the room and made the bed every day, and the hardworking crew deserves thanks. The front desk team was friendly, and they even let me keep some fresh fruit in the fridge. The room was spacious and worked well for our eight-night stay, and transit access from the location was excellent. There’s a washing machine and dryer on site. Both worked well, though the dryer was a little weak. The gym is convenient to have, even if its equipment selection is quite limited. The decor feels dated. We could hear the neighbor flushing or showering, but otherwise the room was quiet.

The staff were accommodating, and the location, facilities, and rooms were good, especially the ones with bathtubs. Sleeping was the hard part. The mattress was too soft, our bed was small, and the pillows were oversized and tough. My husband ended up on the floor because our toddler and both of us couldn’t fit on the bed together. That’s never happened to us on a trip before. There was very little choice at breakfast, too.

The breakfast selection is limited, and they could offer more fresh fruit. The breakfast area was very cold for several mornings in a row because of the air conditioning, so the atmosphere there could be better. Still, it’s a decent four-star option, with a good location and spacious rooms. The design is a little dated, but the place was very clean.

We spent a week here as a family. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was both tasty and convenient in the mornings. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is close to most places you’re likely to visit in Taipei, so I’d highly recommend the hotel.
