The little touches made it feel cared for: a small towel, earplugs and candy were set out on a wooden board to take to the room, and there were shelves by the bed. The walls also had plenty of information about places to eat and walking times to the station and other attractions. Everything was super clean, and the staff were friendly. You can tell the owner puts a lot of care into the hostel. Loved it 😻
The staff were the real highlight for me. Kim was so warm and helpful, going beyond the usual duties with local tips and attractions. Kim took me to a traditional market and showed me nearby hidden gems, including a vintage printing factory, a tea and wine cafe, and temples. Some of the most hospitable staff I’ve met in Taiwan, and they left a positive impression. It’s a compact, cozy hostel in an excellent spot, less than a 10-minute walk from Taipei main station. One suggestion: add large lockers that can fit full-size luggage.
I was looking for a cozier atmosphere, and this place was just right. The employees are awesome and always ready to help, and the location is great. Facilities are cleaned every morning, which made me feel comfortable. They also provide slippers to wear inside and umbrellas if you need one. I’d definitely recommend staying here. If I need another hostel in Taipei, I’ll be back!
The rooms were small but clean, with privacy curtains, and the location was good. I’d come back again.
I spent two weeks in the women’s dorm, and it started to feel like home in Taipei. The rooms are clean and set up with backpackers in mind. The common area makes it easy to hang out, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen, a TV with Netflix, plus a washer and dryer. It’s also an easy walk to Taipei main station. The staff were kind and patient whenever I had a request.
