HUADA HOTEL -Nanxi

The reception staff were so, so nice and sweet. The free coffee machine was a nice extra, and the simple rooms had everything I needed, including a really nice shower and bathroom. It’s very close to the main train station and interesting night markets, with one of the best price-to-quality ratios in this neighborhood. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Taipei.

One of the reception ladies was incredibly kind and offered me her own clothes when she saw I hadn’t brought warm enough things for the trip. I didn’t expect that at all. The reception staff are the best part of the hotel, along with its convenient location. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was clean. It was a bit noisy at night, but earplugs sorted that out. I’d recommend staying here.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and thoughtful. We stayed three nights and loved how spacious the room was, especially with a window in the bathroom. The location is great too, very close to Ningxia Night Market. We’d choose this hotel again if we get the chance to return to Taipei.

They gave me an upgrade to a bigger room, which was a lovely bonus, and let me check in at 2:30 pm instead of the stated 4 pm. The receptionist also kindly gave me a quick rundown of things to do in Taipei, since it was my first visit to Taiwan. The reception stays open 24 hours. I spent four nights here, and the place was clean throughout. The toilet had great water pressure, and the water heater warmed up quickly, with a good range of temperatures to choose from. The location is great, close to ZhongShan MRT station and several popular spots. 7-Eleven, Family Mart, and Starbucks are all within walking distance, which made things very convenient. I’ll make this my preferred place next time I’m back in Taipei.
