Park Taipei Hotel

We stayed in a comfortable Superior King room with a desk, a small closet, and a spacious bathroom that had both a standing shower and a bathtub. Though it faced the main street, it wasn't noisy, and the area felt safe, with lots of people coming and going from the hotel. Room cleaning is every other day for eco-friendly reasons, and they don't provide personal items like toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can ask the front desk for extra items. The staff were helpful. We arrived in Taipei very early, well before the 3 pm check-in time, so we left our luggage and were able to check in at 11 am, which was nice. The front desk also called us a taxi to the airport. Park Taipei is right in front of Daan MRT station, with plenty of bus stops nearby. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance, from sandwiches and Taiwanese breakfast to dumplings, soups, noodles, Thai food, Vietnamese food, and more. I had a very pleasant weeklong stay and would be glad to stay at Park Taipei again.

There's a small gym with free weights and older cardio machines, but it was good enough for me. The room was a decent size, with a comfortable bed, a safe, and a spotless bathroom with a tub and standing shower. It was clean, without a speck of dust, and had many Chinese TV channels. The location is fantastic. Daan train station is right across from the hotel. A 7-11, Family Mart, Morning coffee shop, breakfast spot, and noodle shop are all within a five-minute walk. Uber pickup right outside was easy, with no confusion.

Our room was spacious, clean, well lit, and really quiet at night. Pretty much everything I'd want from a hotel room. The location was excellent for us. Almost all the sights we visited were stops on the Red MTR line, and there's a station exit right in front of the hotel. It was also a nice stroll to Taipei 101 or Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial.

I enjoyed my five nights here. It may not be the most premium place, but it did well on cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. The hotel is right by a train station exit, with lots of nearby food choices for breakfast or dinner, plus a famous massage place about two minutes away on foot. I'm a light sleeper, but noise was minimal and didn't bother me. The blackout curtains could be better since some sunlight still got through. Keep in mind they clean the room only every two days.
