The front desk agent was nice, and the location was really convenient. The room was super tiny, but had enough space for one person. I liked the big street-facing window, which kept it from feeling too claustrophobic. Comfortable stay for the price.

A calm place at a low price, with a great location. The room walls and structure look a little worn, but overall the hygiene is better than at comparable hostels. There’s coin laundry, cleaning service and a shared balcony too.

It’s in a great location, but the room feels old and has a lot of impractical features. There’s no handrail or shelving in the bathroom, and the small room makes it hard to manage a suitcase. The stairway has no handrails either, which feels very dangerous.

The location is GREAT, right in the center, and the shared toilets and showers were clean. The room felt smaller than it looked in the photos, a bit claustrophobic.

It’s under a five-minute walk from MRT Ximen exit 1, with Ximending market and its food and souvenir shops nearby. The private rooms are across the street in another building, and the owner, I assume, was helpful. The room had basic amenities and a window you could open, which was handy if you ate inside. The walls don’t block much sound, but earplugs are available at reception.
