This was my second stay, and the room with a balcony was a better size this time. The staff were still friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, someone had smoked in the room before we arrived, so we bought our own deodorizer to get rid of the smell. The hotel was fully booked and couldn’t move us to another room.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of ximen, and the hotel was clean. It’s a little walk from the train station, but I’d come back next time.

The room I had came with a huge balcony, which was a really nice bonus. The balcony itself was dirty and run down, though, and it’s a shame they haven’t fixed it up to look more presentable. The sound isolation in the room was terrible. The hotel has been newly renovated and looks really good for the price, and it’s on a quiet street beside Xi Men Ding.

The WiFi barely worked, and the tiny elevators would hardly fit a standard wheelchair. Nothing fancy here, but it’s conveniently located. The room was a decent size, though it had a musty smell, probably from poor ventilation. There’s no tub or shower enclosure, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet when you shower. If the room has space and you need it, adding another person costs 1000 NTD per person per night.
