Everything went smoothly, and one call to the front desk was enough for them to take care of my requests. The staff were approachable and kind, the food was great, and the room felt cozy and was clean. Even without asking for room makeup, housekeeping came by to collect the day’s trash. Special thanks to Austin and Cindy for helping all of us so much. I can’t wait to stay here again. Great job to the whole team at Episode Daan hotel by JDV.

It’s a lovely new hotel, and I like that they don’t offer room service dining. Instead, they put together what I think is a solid selection of UberEats options, which feels smart, economical, and tasteful given how common delivery is now. The location works especially well for me. My family has a place in Muzha, but I usually book a night or two nearby around NYE to make logistics easier. I’ve stayed at a different hotel each year, and this is one of my favorites by far. I love taking baths, so having a bathtub option in the room, with bath salts, was great. Each room also has a face mask, eye mask, ear plugs, and a gua sha, plus a complimentary bottle of fruit tea wine. A solid choice, and I’d definitely come back.

The staff made this stay memorable. Anne and Austen were especially kind and helpful, and everyone greeted me warmly and professionally. I’d happily come back the next time I’m in Taipei. I moved here from grand Hyatt Taipei, and I liked this place much more. The location worked well too, with lots nearby and plenty of bus stops.
