Getting around from here took some effort, since it’s in an alley with no signs pointing to the hotel. The number is 1, and you have to knock at the front door. It’s also far from Beitou’s tourist spots, so you’ll need to take a bus. The staff can understand English, and the room was fairly spacious, but it didn’t feel clean. There’s a small hot spring pool out back, and you need swimwear. For the price, I expected more.

The room had plenty of space, though it was a little dark. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the house specialties.

The photos give a misleading impression of the space. The shared bathing pool is only a little bigger than a double bed, while the room itself has just a double bed and a bathroom under 0.5 square meters. There’s hardly room to open a suitcase. It’s also remote, and the soundproofing is very poor.
