Kimpton Da an Taipei by IHG

Rohit at the concierge desk made planning outings and finding my way around the city easy, thanks to his knowledge, kindness, and great service. The hotel is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the subway. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were warm and professional from the start. I enjoyed the hotel restaurant too, with attentive, friendly service that never felt intrusive and good food. My stay at IHG Kimpton Da’An Hotel was memorable, and I'd gladly come back.

The room was quiet, comfortable, and beautifully put together. Kimpton Da An has modern design with thoughtful touches that make it feel welcoming. It's steps from Zhongxiao Fuxing station, with cafés, shops, and restaurants all around. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, and I especially enjoyed the morning coffee and evening social hour. One of Taipei's best boutique hotels for me.

We were choosing between Grant Hyatt, Regent and Kimpton, and we're really pleased with the Kimpton. The facilities feel new and modern, with no worn-looking amenities. The MRT is a minute away, Family Mart is 20 seconds downstairs, 7/11 is a minute away, and Sogo is just across the street. There are several happy hour periods through the day, so you can have snacks and wine whenever you like. The hotel is pet friendly, and the dogs around were very well mannered, which made for a lovely atmosphere. I got sick on my first night in Taipei, and the staff even offered to bring hot chocolate up to the room.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Hunter arranged nail and hair appointments for me, and for our 11th anniversary, they left a lovely handwritten card and treats in the room. I was also obsessed with the nice room sprays. The snack hour and cute breakfast bar each day were favorites. Our room was spacious, with a bathroom and bed sized just right for us. It was cleaned while we were out, so we came back at night to a tidy room. The MRT is close, and I often walked to SOGO while my husband used the hotel gym. I loved the place and was sad to leave. We'll definitely return.
