Our room at Ti Hwa Hotel turned out to be a nice surprise, with a clear view of the mountains and good WiFi. It was clean, and toothbrushes, shower gel, and towels were supplied. The TV wasn't working at first, but Kate got it going the next morning. For more details, visit 2bearbear today!

Handy location near the MRT, and the place was clean. It was good enough for a comfortable stay and a bit of rest.

The only real bright spot was the guy, whose service and attitude were perfect. I'd suggest staying here only if keeping to a budget is a major concern. It was USD$76/night, booked a week ahead. There was peeling wallpaper, no shower curtain, and no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The place smelled stale throughout, had no lobby or common area, and the slippery floor mat was a hazard.

The staff were nice, and our room was spacious. Finding the hotel was confusing because it's inside another building, on the 11th floor, and the hotel name appears only in Chinese, so having GPS is a good idea. Our room had a strong smoky smell, which was unpleasant.
