The owners seemed friendly, though they didn't speak much English. The location near Taipei Main is great, but the rooms felt old and a bit cramped, and the showers weren't full height.

The room was fine if you don't mind old furniture. It was well ventilated, and there's a window you can open in the bathroom. They also have a hot and cold water dispenser by the fire exit, and disposable towels you can take with you if you'd rather use your own. Taipei Main Station is only a few minutes away on foot, which may explain why the price felt high for a 2-star hotel.

The place is a little rough around the edges, but it was clean, with good AC and hot water. The location is hard to beat. If you're traveling with kids, watch out for the TV: its last channel is hardcore porn.

I stayed five nights, and the location was excellent. The room was spacious for the price, especially compared with the much smaller newer hotels nearby. It was generally clean, with a clean bed, two pillows, and another one in the wardrobe. The room has an old 80s look, and the hallways are dim. The wardrobe smelled musty at first, but airing it out got rid of the old wood smell. There's a standalone AC that you can adjust. It gets cold and makes a small buzzing noise, and there's also a standing fan. The fridge smelled really bad, like it hadn't been cleaned. I mentioned it to the front desk, but didn't open it again, so I don't know if they fixed it. I didn't mind too much because there's a 7-11 right next door. The bathroom is pink, with a bathtub and a clean toilet. The hot water was steady, and the bathroom was generally quite clean apart from mold on the ceiling. I used the disposable bath towels for a few rounds, and their quality was surprisingly good. I booked an eco room, so there was no room service or towel replacement. They gave me two cotton face towels and two disposable bath towels. There was a water cooler in the stairwell. I was worried after reading Google reviews on another platform following my booking. When I arrived at 7 pm, an uncle was at the counter expecting me. I asked about the bad reviews and shared my concerns, and he reassured me that the rooms were okay. Soundproofing isn't good, though. I could hear the neighbors talking late at night. It's a no-frills hotel, and I wouldn't mind staying there again, though maybe I just got a decent room. I left at 6 am and put the key in the deposit box, with no staff there.
