Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel

Our child was thrilled just staying in the family room, and Hand-in-Hand Land (Playground) was fantastic. Staff were friendly and professional from booking through checkout, and I’d recommend the hotel to friends and family, especially those with children. A few things could be better. We were near the playground, so hallway sounds of children playing and laughing carried clearly into the room, which wasn't great for a child who goes to bed early. Check-in took a long time, apparently because departments had strict divisions of tasks, and nobody else stepped in to help or explain the wait. The breakfast coffee tasted weak to me. Also, we ordered the same dish twice at the Lobby Lounge within three days, and the fish portions were noticeably different. Still, we had a great stay and look forward to coming back.

The location made getting around easy: the subway station is right out front, there are several bus stops on the block, and Taipei main station is walkable. We stayed three nights, and the Lounge and free breakfast for platinum+ members were the best part. Every employee we interacted with gave excellent service. This will be our go-to hotel in Taipei, and I highly recommend it to Marriott members visiting the city. We couldn't use the swimming pool because it was closed in January.

The location was handy, right by the metro lines and just a block from Fuhang Soy Milk for breakfast. We really liked our stay at the Sheraton Grand Taipei. The room was nice and clean, the staff were hospitable and very nice, and the food in the club lounge was so good it was hard to leave and go sample local food.

Zoe at the front desk was a real highlight. Her service was outstanding, and I was impressed by how well she remembered things. The room was spacious, the lobby was large, and the Club Lounge had a great spread of delicious food. There were lots of restaurants on site too.
