The room and location were good, but there were a few hassles. I booked a single room with a shower, and it was spacious and clean. The aircon worked well, and the room had a towel, slippers, toothbrush, shampoo, body soap, tissue, blower, coffee, refrigerator, electric kettle and tv. It was easy to find and just a few minutes from the ximending night market. Check-in and check-out were easy, and I could leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out. The afternoon staff were friendly. In the evening, a Filipina staff member helped carry my luggage upstairs, and I suppose the Taiwanese staff member, or maybe owner, helped me carry it down before I checked out. The main inn is in another building without an elevator. My room was on the 2F with street view windows, and it could be noisy until 12am. The water heater was hard to set, and opening the door with the key was difficult.

I didn’t take any pictures since I only stayed one night, but I really appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were. The location was a great choice for my trip, close to the MRT, restaurants, and convenience stores. There’s no lift, only stairs, so be careful if you’ve got heavy luggage. If I come back to Taipei, I’d love to stay here again.

The bathroom is small, there’s probably no bath area in particular, and the plumbing could be better. Still, it was a great budget stay. The room was small but cozy and well equipped, and the location was amazing, with good places to eat and hang out, cafes, shops, bars, the metro, and some tourist landmarks nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place felt homely.

Getting around was easy because it’s very close to Ximen Station, and the location was great value. It’s a simple but comfortable hotel, with a cozy bed and enough room for the three of us. We appreciated the hot and cold water, free toiletries, and complimentary coffee.

There’s so much around this place that you won’t run out of things to do. The location is simply the best. The room wasn’t the most “luxurious,” but it had a cozy feel and was more pleasant than I expected.
