We were a group of 13 and had the rest of the rooms, which made the first floor a handy shared hangout. Anny was kind and easy to deal with, and we could use the appliances in the building. The place is close to Ximending and plenty of food options, including small restaurants, 7/11, and Family Mart. We picked it because it cost much less than a hotel. There are four floors, and every room has its own bathroom, though some have only a shower and no toilet. The rooms each have a cute theme, soft enough beds with comforters, air conditioning, and TVs. We just couldn't figure out how to use the TV.

The location was the best part. The bed was clean, at least. It's basic, and some basic maintenance is needed. Fine for a night or two, I guess. You get what you pay for.

Anny at reception was helpful and suggested places for us to check out. The room was clean, cozy, and felt homey, and the price seemed reasonable. The area is quiet but close to the main road, with shops and the night market nearby. Ximen station is an easy walk away, as are the high-end stores. Good value, and I'd stay again when I return to Taiwan.

A good low-cost option if you're not fussy about where you stay. Ximending market and Ximen MRT are about a five-minute walk away, so it works well if you're travelling alone.

The rooms were really dirty, with mold on the walls and dusty fans. I wouldn't stay here.
