The room was huge, and the area around it was great. Breakfast was included, though it was served in another building around the block. The hallways were dirty and doubled as storage for permanent residents sharing the floor. It was also hard to find because the sign only said hostel, not hotel. Still, it was great value, and I’d stay again.

We left after just one night instead of the four we’d booked, and got out as fast as we could. The room looked nothing like the pictures, and the surrounding area was awful. The A/C shook and screamed all night, so we couldn’t sleep. Mediocre and far below standard.

I stayed in room C on the 4th floor and felt tiny insects crawling on me through the night. I woke up itchy, with red bumps all over my arms. A family friend who’s a doctor said they looked like mite bites, though that wasn’t certain. The photo shows them after the swelling had gone down by the end of the day; they were much more noticeable right after I woke up. I told the front desk, and they only said briefly that they’d check the room. After such a poor stay, I was disappointed that they offered no compensation.
