40Inn Backpackers Warehouse

I’ve stayed at 40 INN Backpacker Warehouse 40 Residence twice for the triathlon, and both visits were great. The male dorm was clean, hygienic, and comfortable, and I slept well each time. Sarah and the team were exceptionally welcoming and easy to communicate with, including over LINE, which made everything smooth and stress-free. They also shared great local tips for coffee, restaurants, and drinks, including some real hidden gems. I appreciated having a dedicated indoor space to park my bicycle. I’d happily return and hope to book a private room next time. Highly recommend!

The location in Taitung was great, and when I arrived by bike, they kept it safely in a courtyard at the back. The dorms were well equipped with comfortable beds, the hot showers were good, and the common room was lovely and comfortable. Brilliant hospitality.

Everything was clean, and the dorm was spacious with comfortable beds. The bus stop nearby has services to the train station and up the coast, and people speak English. When I arrived, Sarah gave me a fantastic introduction to the city and told me about a free concert that night, which was fun to attend. Thanks also to the guy who works there, though I’m sorry I don’t know your name. I took the wrong bus and ended up outside a radar station in the middle of nowhere at night. There were no Ubers in the city, so I messaged him on Line to ask if he could arrange a taxi. He saw it right away, and I was in a taxi in no time.

Sarah was really friendly and had helpful local tips, and she even helped me get my lost luggage back. The rooms were great and so was the location. I’d love to come back. Thanks again from Australia!
