Good staff, a good location, and a good Taiwanese breakfast. The rooms are older, but clean and quiet. If it’s your first time visiting Taitung, give the hotel at least 24 hours’ notice if you want pickup from Taitung train station. The station is nowhere near the center of Taitung or the Apple Hotel, and a cab for that trip will cost more than $200.00 NTD. 4.0 score

A room with 3 single beds cost only 1300. There’s free parking, breakfast, bikes, coffee all day, and ice cream. It’s a non-smoking hotel with clean rooms and a powerful hot shower. Self-service laundry is 50 each for washing and drying. What else do you need?

The bikes were very new and well maintained, and the room was clean. Staff service was excellent. Great room and hotel, I’ll come back again.

Affordable, clean, and comfortable, with nice, helpful staff. The included breakfast was very disappointing.
