Fuyue Sea View B&B

The room and bathroom were huge, and you could see the ocean from both the bathtub and the bedroom. There were chairs on the balcony for sitting and looking out. A few practical things: there aren’t many outlets, and there’s no hand soap apart from the body wash, so washing your hands means getting it from the bathtub area. There’s no WiFi on the 4th floor and no elevator, but we knew both before booking. The stairs are kind of steep. This is a fishery and wharf neighborhood, not a beach area, so you can’t really stroll along the shore or do beach activities. You’d need to drive up or down the coast to find a spot. Many places in the area charge a small fee, though if you look around you can find free pull-offs with a path down to the beach.

We picked the ocean view suite because we had an early ferry to Green Island, and the harbor is only a 10-minute walk away. The balcony faces the sea and sunrise, and the bathtub has an ocean view too. Thick airtight glass in the doors and windows keeps street noise out. The bed was incredible, easily a luxury bed worth over ten thousand dollars. I slept soundly, and even when the person next to me moved, I couldn’t feel it. The firmness was just right. The AC and refrigerator were very cold, and there were tons of TV channels. The neighborhood is convenient, with a convenience store less than a minute away and seafood places near the harbor. Star Village is nearby too, and I highly recommend it for the night view. A truly perfect guesthouse. I’d definitely stay again if I get the chance.

The rooms are huge and the views are amazing, including a bathtub overlooking the ocean!! It’s at the end of an alley near Fugang Fishing Port, handy for seafood and fishing, and you can even watch fighter jets take off and land. Taitung city center is very close too, which is great for going to the night market.

We paid 1800 yuan for a weekday stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with a bathroom about the size of another room, and everything was very clean. The view was stunning. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were visiting Green Island for a few days, and they let us leave our luggage at the fishing port, then park in the B&B lot, which is a 12-minute walk away. Highly recommended!
