The owner was quick to sort things out whenever we messaged on Line, which made this self-catering stay feel very well looked after. They put us on the first floor, with a water dispenser outside the kitchen, handy for making formula for our baby. The room stayed comfortable even in the cold winter weather, and our baby slept soundly. It was clean, had no odor, and parking was easy. The place is right by the city center, so getting to the main attractions was convenient. The room also looked just like the booking photos, and the price was very reasonable.

I slept really well here. The bed had just the right firmness, the hot water was plenty warm, and the bathroom pressure was strong. Sound barely came through, apart from the air conditioning. The balcony was my favorite part, with a table and chairs and a laid-back feel. A very comfortable stay, and a good choice if you want to relax.

I paid by card, but couldn't get into the guesthouse because I never received the notification to add the room key to my email. I needed that key to get the room code. I waited downstairs for nearly half an hour, called, rang the doorbell, and sent messages through Agoda, but got no reply. When I finally reached someone, they said I had a bad attitude and told me to apply for a refund. They said I hadn't called, then said they had tried calling me but had no signal, and later claimed my signal was bad. I was there calling and ringing the bell. You can check your security camera footage. They said they'd had a bad experience and immediately asked me for a refund. They put the whole problem on me and completely blamed me. I've never had an accommodation experience like this. This isn't service, it's refusing to deal with an issue and pushing the blame onto someone else. I want people to know about it.

The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had separate shower and toilet areas, quick hot water, and a bidet seat. In winter, the heated seat was especially nice. Toiletries were left on the table, and the hairdryer was good. The buildings feel solid and the soundproofing itself seemed good, though we still heard neighbors' dogs barking and firecrackers in the alley at night. Finding the guesthouse was easy. It's just off Zhonghua Road in an alley, with two buildings, A and B, and six rooms in each. There are only two spaces in front. The owner let us park there, but hoped guests would use a lot farther away, described as a two-minute walk. It took us much longer, and when we got back, everyone else had parked out front, so we felt a bit foolish. For a guesthouse, the price felt high. Parking was a hassle, and nearby dinner choices were limited, especially on weekends when restaurants were closed. Driving out for food and then finding somewhere to park again was inconvenient. Still, the facilities were quite good, so it's worth considering.
