The hot water in the bathrooms takes ages to come through, which is frustrating on a winter night. Soundproofing could be better too. Still, I really liked the space, and the price was reasonable. I'd visit again. The place is clean, peaceful, and comfortable. I especially liked the minimalist exposed concrete and the natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The hostess was tall, friendly, and welcoming. The first-floor common area is spacious, with good facilities, and sometimes gets used for hosting friends, book clubs, or empty yoga classes, which was interesting. There's even a large projection screen with Apple TV. The room is simply equipped but has what you need. The mattress had just the right softness, and I slept deeply. I could easily spend the whole day in the room. Seems suitable for solo travelers, tourists, and business trips.

The owner was so kind when I was late checking out because I was preparing for an exam. She let me leave my luggage on the first floor without charging extra. She's also good at sorting out customer problems. It feels like home here. With the landlady's permission, you can use the first-floor common area and certain parts of the kitchen. When I visited, the kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator were available, though you need to ask her first. There's a 7-Eleven nearby for a quick bite, and Panda Express delivery is available too. The rooms are beautiful, with a Japanese or industrial style. They were noticeably clean, and even the sheets and pillows smelled nice. The electronic locks felt very secure, with three locks between outside and the room. If you forget your key, the landlady can open the outer door remotely. Welcome!

We visited at the end of 2020 and walked to the night market, bars, Tiehua Village, and other attractions. It's not too far from the city center. The B&B also has bicycles and can get you a taxi, which isn't too expensive. I'd recommend staying here for a day or two while exploring the city. From the entrance, the view opens up to a bright, comfortable first floor, with high ceilings, big windows, and a skylight. The living room has a narrow dining area with two long tables, then the staircase, with the kitchen island further inside. The layout has no hallways and makes good use of the space. Behind the kitchen is a small backyard with lounge chairs. There are lots of nice details. The exposed concrete is warmed up by wooden furniture and plants, so it doesn't feel cold. It's clean and comfortable without much clutter. The bed was comfortable, and the hostess was very nice.

The owner and his wife were very nice, and the B&B felt relaxing and comfortable. I slept really well in the very comfortable bed. If you like a minimalist style, I'd recommend it. A great choice for a new stay in Taitung! 😍

The rooms and beds are spacious, and the owner and her brother are very friendly. The guesthouse is clean and decorated in a comfortable, stylish way. I'd highly recommend staying here!
