Kindness Hotel -Taitung

We stayed here in Tainan in February 2020, my mom, sister, and me. The staff were really sweet and kind, and it was easy to get around from this location. There were lots of places to eat nearby, which made the stay convenient.

The staff at Kindness hotel are really kind. Thanks, guys 🫡

We never actually stayed here. After we booked, the owner let us know they’d be renovating during our dates, so there would be a strong smell of glue and paint. They apologized and offered free cancellation. That kind of heads-up was appreciated. Some Western hotels might leave you to discover an unpleasant surprise when you arrive. They really do live up to the “ Kindness” name. Thank you!

There’s such a friendly feel throughout the hotel. The staff are kind, and even guests passing each other in the hallway end up smiling. You can see the thought put into the place, from the facilities to little touches like separate men’s and women’s bath soap and shampoo. Guests can borrow bikes, use the computer room, and help themselves to drinks and ice cream at the 24-hour station. There’s also free laundry with dryers. Breakfast and “midnight snack” coupons are included, and the food was great. Service was quick and always came with a smile. I’ll be choosing Kindness Hotels from now on. I never expected to miss staying somewhere, but I do.
