The place is quiet, and I slept really well in a comfortable bed. The bathroom was great, with a soothing hot shower and beautiful, practical furnishings. The bright colors, clean air, and fresh breeze make it feel relaxing and almost luxurious. I feel at home here. Thank you, Fuji and Ivy! Your English is very good, and I’ll come back on my way to Lanyu next time. I was supposed to go to Anchor the 11:11 AN 'AMU'A with Ceremonies on Lanyu, Taitung, but flights and boats were canceled all week because of another typhoon. A kind person who builds prefab homes picked me up at the train station, and after our meeting kept helping me find a guesthouse. Someone found this wonderful place through a line group. The owner helped me change my train ticket when I had to leave Taitung a day early, and his wife offered me something to eat. It’s a 1 hour and 40 minute walk to the sea, though you can also walk to Narawan and take the bicycle and walking path toward downtown.

The host was very friendly and made a nice Western breakfast. The house has lots of decor, and the neighborhood is quiet. You’ll need your own transport. Laundry is available.
