It’s about a five-minute walk from Zhongli train station, and the rooms are twice the size of basic business hotels like Holiday Inn, even though this place costs about half as much. You get what you pay for. We stayed on 6F, and our room was quite clean. The place is old, though, and the layout wastes space that could be designed much better. The bathtub was clean, and I didn’t find any issue with the sheets or towels. The towels weren’t fluffy, but they weren’t dirty either. The TV had Google TV, which made things easier for the kids. Some comments call it dirty or worse than it is.

We’d stayed here before and had a good experience with a reception desk and staff with a good attitude, so we came back even though it was pricey. This time, on July 23, 2025, the receptionist was unfriendly and had a bad attitude. I wouldn’t recommend it. The room they gave us felt very old and scary, and had a lot of dust.

The room’s pool was dirty and full of cockroaches swimming around, so we didn’t get in. I suspect the water is only changed every few weeks. Cockroaches were also right by the room door. The owner needs to deal with the nest and clean better. A pool with old water isn’t really up to standard. They required a NT 2000 deposit as a cleaning fee, which meant you had to clean everything yourself or they would keep it. That was strange.

The bath was the best part, five stars for that. It was clean, had a long tub, and the shower pressure was good. The air was cleaner in the second suite, and one of its two beds was soft. The walls there were in much better shape too. I slept well and enjoyed watching the fish outside. I would have given it five stars if there’d been a massage chair. Our first suite was dingy, smoky, and gloomy. Its two beds were side by side, both hard and uncomfortable, with peeling paint and wallpaper. The bathroom looked dismal.
