A clean, comfortable spot for a short airport stay. Linghang Station is just a 5-minute walk away, and self check-in and check-out made things easy. Free tea, coffee, and light snacks were available, and I liked that the men’s and women’s bathrooms are separate. Worked perfectly for my 1-night transit stop in Taipei.

The shared bathroom made me nervous because I’ve had some bad experiences in Central America, but the showers and bathrooms were surprisingly clean. The room was clean too, and the bed was comfortable, just right for an overnight before the airport. Getting to the MRT on foot can be a hassle with lots of luggage since the sidewalks aren’t kind to rolling bags. A taxi to or from the airport costs about USD11. The rooms have no windows, so I’d have liked a couple of comfy chairs in a common area to sit in. If you have time to kill, Gloria Outlets is walkable.

I landed in Taipei around midnight and needed somewhere to rest until morning. Douzi was affordable, comfortable, clean, and felt safe, with an easy self check-in that let me get into my room quickly even though no staff were around then. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby, and the metro is within walking distance. The entrance also has a little spot for water, coffee, or tea, which was a nice touch. I took an Uber from the airport for around 1500 NTD. It was a 15-minute ride, and in hindsight that felt like too much for the trip. I was exhausted at the time, but would suggest a local taxi since they’re much cheaper. Thanks for a safe and convenient stay.

Our room and bathroom were very clean, and we had a comfortable, worry-free stay at Douzi Hotel. The staff were friendly and ready to help. I’m especially grateful they arranged a taxi for our very early airport flight. It made a big difference.
