I wasn't expecting much when we arrived, but I ended up really liking the hotel and would stay again. The room was a little small, which makes sense for the price, and both it and the bathroom were very clean. The room lights and toilet are electronic and easy to use. Check-in isn't until 4 p.m., later than the 3 p.m. or earlier time many hotels allow, which can be inconvenient when you'd like to rest. The reception staff made the wait easier by inviting us to the second floor and offering snacks and drinks. They'd greeted us outside the hotel too, and everyone was polite, kind, and provided excellent service.

Our only regret is that our plans didn't let us stay longer. This is a lovely little boutique hotel, and the staff were so helpful: they called a taxi and gave the driver the location. After a sleepless flight, we took the airport MRT to the end of the line in zhongli, then walked about ten minutes to the hotel. The room had everything we needed, there's a fully equipped laundry room, and free snacks are available from 3 p.m. to 11:30, enough to make a meal.

It's a short walk to the MRT and night market, and the riverside walkway is right across the street. We were impressed with how friendly everyone was and how lovely the service felt. The room was very clean, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. Excellent stay, and we'd happily come back.

They were generous with the food at breakfast, and the choices changed from day to day. In the afternoon, the breakfast area turns into a snack bar that stays open into the evening.
