Six Star Motel-Zhongli

The motel was clean, and breakfast was decent. Zhong Li night market is less than a five-minute drive away. I’d book again if I get the chance.

The surrounding area was lovely, especially the path along a beautiful river from the MRT to the hotel. There’s a fruit store and market across the street, and a great night market about five minutes away. It’s a great area to stay in before heading to the airport the next day. Check-in isn’t until 6 PM, which cost them a star. We got there at 4:30 and were allowed to wait in the restaurant, where they gave us snacks, which we really appreciated. There’s no front desk, the security station handles that. We had a lot of luggage and faced plenty of stairs to reach our room, though staff helped carry one of the heavy bags. The room was quite nice, set up for a party or large group, with parking for one car behind a garage door. The bathroom was unusual, with a hot tub for 5+ people and a strange mattress over another bath, plus eight showerheads in the ceiling.

The room was spacious, breakfast was great, and the service felt warm and welcoming. The night market is a five-minute walk away. I’d stay again.

Good value for money. We stayed in a room with two king-size beds and had a good breakfast. It’s a five-minute walk from the station and night market.
