Lan Yang Seaview Hotel

The one part of dinner we enjoyed was dessert. The fish tasted noticeably fishy and was poorly seasoned, the spicy tofu was bland, and the oyster was unpleasant. Dinner as a whole was forgettable and well below what we'd expected. We chose this hotel because we'd heard such good recommendations, but our stay didn't match that reputation. The room's “mountain view” was ordinary, nothing special. We haven't had breakfast yet, and honestly aren't expecting much.

The breakfast was yummy, and we liked the ocean view, though the weather was rainy while we were there. The pool looked okay, but don't expect much from the spa. The gym is small and needs major improvement, and the bathroom design could be better.

The buffet was really delicious 😋🤤. Very clean, and not noisy.

We really enjoyed the view and our night at the hotel. What stood out most was how helpful the staff were while we had our baby with us. As I waited to check in with the baby in my arms, one staff member quickly brought me a chair. The next day I went to the restaurant to have baby food microwaved, carrying the baby in one hand and the food in the other. A staff member pressed the elevator button, but I said taking the stairs would be faster. He offered to carry the food so I could go downstairs with the baby. Maybe these aren't things to praise, but the hotel clearly trains its staff well, and I really appreciated their help.
