The only small drawback for us was the lack of a proper dining table, though it didn't cause much trouble. The guesthouse was clean, and every room had its own bathroom. What really made the stay was the owners' care. It felt like staying with relatives, and they looked after us closely. They helped plan our itinerary, ordered things for us, and even queued to pick up takeout. I've stayed at many guesthouses in Yilan, but these owners were the warmest and most welcoming. Five stars doesn't feel like enough, I'd give their service a full 10.

The room was a little cramped. Once we had two suitcases open, there was no space left in the aisle. Still, the room had nice light, air conditioning and heating, and the shower had excellent flow and pressure. The owners were attentive and took time to talk with each group. They suggested itineraries based on what we wanted and knew a lot about local food, souvenirs, and places to visit. There were plenty of amenities overall.

Ruru and the owner came out to greet us in the heavy rain, which really touched me. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable, and it felt like home. Ruru was kind and helpful before the trip, gave us lots of advice, and went out of her way to buy us delicious local specialties. The bed was softer than I prefer, but I could manage it. A perfect score from me.

The owners, including Sister Ruru, were so welcoming. They helped plan our itinerary, suggested lots of authentic Yilan restaurants, and even upgraded our room. I slept really well, and the room was spacious enough to dance in. It was clean and comfortable, and extra chairs or tables were available to borrow. I also loved the large, clean living room for watching TV and playing games, especially the special pinball machine. The bear photo is from the living room. The building is standalone with a high-end exterior, and there's a self-service water dispenser. The elevator is clean and upscale, so you don't have to climb stairs and hurt your knees. The bed was super comfortable. It felt like coming back to a new home, and the place was clean and spacious throughout. Great value for a well-run guesthouse. If I'm in Yilan again, I'll definitely stay here. Thanks!
