We stayed over the Qingming Festival holiday. The four-person room was a little over 2000 yuan a night. One of the two beds was a sofa bed, and it wasn't as comfortable as a regular bed. There weren't any major issues overall 🙂, though people who are fussy about cleanliness might not be comfortable 😵‍💫. The bathroom 🚿 was spacious, with the toilet and shower separated, but the drain was slow and the floor could flood. A train runs nearby 🚂, but I personally didn't find it too bothersome, and the owner provides earplugs. There was a little refrigerator in the room, so cold that drinks could freeze 🧊, and the water dispenser on the second floor was very handy 😊.

The bathroom drain was faulty. I called the owner about it, but they only said the drainage was a little slow and didn't actually fix anything. After I showered, water had flooded the entire bathroom, reaching my ankles in the shower and even spreading a bit into the room. If the owner already knew this bathroom had a problem, why rent the room out? I called to ask what could be done, but the reply felt dismissive, as if I was just expected to deal with it. No wonder domestic tourism is disappointing.

Dust had built up in the corners, and the equipment was old and needed maintenance and upgrades. I had a poor experience. I booked because it was cheap, then later saw it listed for even less on NetEase. Booking.com doesn't give refunds.

For our two-day, one-night trip with our child, we picked this place near Dongshan Township. The room had a large bed and a sofa bed. That setup worked for a child aged 13+5, but I wouldn't suggest it for adults because it could feel cramped and too small. I was concerned about train noise after reading reviews, but the owner provided earplugs and the sealed windows blocked a lot of the sound. The water pressure was steady and good, and the place was clean and tidy. The main downside was that the AC wasn't very cold 🥲. The toiletries were disposable, as is common now. If you don't like that material, bring your own towels. For the price, we thought it was good value and had a pretty good stay ☺️.
