Since you advertise kitchen facilities for guests to make breakfast, there should at least be usable utensils. The pans and other kitchenware were yellowed, dirty, and badly scratched. There wasn't even salad oil, so how were we supposed to fry an egg? If the utensils couldn't be provided at the last minute, we should have been told beforehand so we could plan. Instead, we were left to sort it out with no explanation. Damage from one or several nights shouldn't simply be blamed on the guests staying that day.

Small cockroaches kept showing up around the house, and the children were screaming with fright. Dust covered the bathroom vents, and the frying pans were rusty and greasy. How were we meant to cook, let alone make food for the kids? We'd looked forward to a family stay in a private house, but it was a complete disappointment. The bloggers' descriptions turned out to be false. Lesson learned.

What a lovely spot, with a rice paddy right behind the back door. There was a rainbow this morning, but for some reason I couldn't get a photo. I'll add one if I figure out how.
