The breakfast was light and healthy, and looked nice in photos. The housekeepers were friendly and enthusiastic, and although the price was steep, I felt it was worth it. We stayed upstairs in a bright, clean, cozy room. The building is beautiful inside and out, with a roomy, comfortable lobby where you can have coffee, tea, or juice after checking in. There are fish and ducks in the pond outside. We grabbed late-night snacks and drinks to enjoy with friends. The shared fridge had ice, and the lobby had board games. We played Rummikub(Rummikub）.

The sound carries here. In the morning I could hear the kitchen, and when I opened the door I could hear TVs in other rooms. Some toiletries, like shower caps and cotton buds, are self-serve on level one, and you have to go downstairs for hot or cold water and tea. Still, I loved the cozy room on level two and would come back after our one-night stay. It was peaceful, nicely furnished, and homey, with an interior style I really liked. The couch was super comfortable, the TV was big enough, and there was a large coffee table for eating. You could tell the owner had put thought into the place, and it felt great for couples. They even had hair serum, a nice touch for the ladies. The Taiwanese breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Each dish felt thoughtfully made with care. Before the staff finished their shift, they could make you a lovely coffee or milk tea, and it was so good. They have a superb coffee machine.

We booked five rooms for one night and had a great time, especially feeding the ducks. The host was very friendly, and it felt like a lovely place for family bonding. The location is a bit out of the way, though. Breakfast was good. I absolutely love this homestay, it’s a gem and my dream home. Thanks for having us!
