The hosts were welcoming and easy to deal with, and the scenery around Rainbow Bay B&B in Yilan was lovely and calm. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

I’ve stayed here twice already, and I’d pick this place again if I return to Taiwan. The room was comfortable and had a really nice look, and breakfast was great. When I said I wanted to try local food, they prepared some for me. Staff are thoughtful and polite, and they can speak English, which made things easier. One time I was there, it was a staff member’s birthday. Even though I was just a guest, they shared a slice of cake and invited me to celebrate with them. They also have free bikes to use during your stay.

The owner, a kind woman who speaks fluent English, made me feel at home. I stayed more than three days, working remotely for two of them, and the WiFi was faster than I expected. It’s a good spot to work and unwind, beside a quiet little river that’s lovely for an early walk. Dongshan River Water Park is nearby, with water activities for kids and things for adults like biking and BBQ. I’d strongly recommend this B&B for a visit to YiLan.

A clean, comfortable stay with friendly service from the hostess, all at a reasonable price. The wetlands are close by, making this a great base for watching flowers and birds. Highly recommend!
