We were a group of six adults, two kids, and a baby, and the hosts did a lovely job making sure we were comfortable. They’re warm and welcoming, just as you’d hope in Taiwan. The rooms had what we needed, and the local breakfast was delicious. Sitting and chatting with the hosts over breakfast was part of the fun. It’s peaceful around here, a nice break from the city. We had a great time in Yilan!

The host family made my first trip to Taiwan from Canada feel special. They’re friendly, down to earth, and welcoming, and treated us like family. The host even found time in his busy schedule to drive us around Luodong. His suggestions were good, the complimentary food was amazing, and everything was spotlessly clean. I’d gladly stay here again when I return. Thanks so much!

It’s a quiet countryside stay, about a 10-minute drive from Yilan City, and a nice fit for a family vacation. There’s a roomy shared area downstairs and a big backyard, with free Cola, Fanta, and Sprite. Each room has its own bathroom and restroom, plus a TV, hair dryer, and other amenities. Lovely place, and I’d strongly recommend it for a family getaway.

It’s easy to find, with Luodong Train Station and Luodong Night Market nearby. The staff were so friendly and helped us arrange taxis. They also know Yilan County really well. Breakfast is homemade and pretty good.

We stayed in the attic, which was roomy and very cosy. Mrs Chen was incredibly thoughtful: knowing we had to leave early for Taipei, she got up especially to make us a hot breakfast of sweet potato and pumpkin porridge with plenty of side dishes. It warmed us up before the trip. Highly recommended.
