Freezone hostel

About a 15 minute walk from the port, and right above a seven eleven, so the location is convenient. Each guest gets a small pod with a light and outlet. The air conditioning cooled well, the bathroom was nice, and there was a water fountain in the common area. It looked like they might have scuba rentals, though I didn't ask. One of the best hostels I've stayed at in all of Taiwan.

We had a really comfortable stay at Dive Hub's Xiaoliuqiu base. The rooms had large, comfortable beds, and the spacious living room made a nice common area. The bathroom water stayed at a steady temperature, the shampoo rinsed out easily, and the hairdryer worked well. There's also room to wash and dry gear, and the place is in an alley next to a 7-Eleven. Jiaming and Ben were very helpful on our shore dives, especially with landing and descent. On the boat dives, the grass jelly served at the surface was warm and tasty. We booked four rooms, and there was plenty of space. The decor was simple and comfortable, and the place was clean. The only real drawback was the soundproofing, so everyone needs to keep their voices down. The living room was especially comfortable and felt like home. It's close to the pier, with a 7-Eleven downstairs and lots of food stalls outside. The service was polite and quick to respond to messages. They also help arrange boat tickets and motorcycles, and the pricing is great for students. It's well suited to tourists who want to snorkel or dive, with toilets and showers downstairs. We missed snorkeling this time, but will definitely stay here on our next snorkeling trip. Highly recommend!

I've stayed here twice because I really like it and the location is so convenient. When I first came for a scuba course, they helped book the boat tickets and motorcycle, and the instructor was really nice too. There's a 7-11 just downstairs, and the shop cat, Fei Chang, is adorable. The bed is comfortable, but the backpacker room is right behind a main road, so motorcycles can be heard at night. If you need quiet to fall asleep, bring earplugs. Great value, highly recommend.
