It’s a short walk to the bus and bike stations, and the price felt fair. The facilities were clean and looked after, too. The host was friendly and helpful. I can’t imagine finding a better hostel in Donggang!

The cycling theme is all through the rooms, and there’s somewhere to store your bike. The host is a keen cyclist and clearly knows his stuff, with pictures and lots of medals on the walls to show for it. His son and he seem like heroes to me for everything they’ve achieved in races, triathlons, and the like. It’s especially suited to cyclists, though not only them. I felt at home right away. The host was friendly, supportive, and fair, and the rooms were nice. Couldn’t ask for more.

We got a very warm welcome, and the manager was helpful. The place is quiet and seems well suited to families or active groups. It’s close to the night markets, with secure bike parking, clean rooms, good showers, and an excellent host. Very good value, and it had everything we needed.

Robert made us feel like we had a second home at Vélo B&B. He spent lots of time with us, showed us around Dongang, took us to the fish market early one morning, and even lent us bicycles. Our room was huge, clean, and smelled lovely. We really loved staying with him. Thanks, Robert!
