The place itself is stunning, and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. The location suited us well, and nights were fairly quiet, which I think is partly down to the old structure. But the furniture was worn, the bedding was poor, and cleanliness was what made up for those things. The staircase looked worrying for older people or little kids; taking the elevator just to the second floor also seemed very wasteful. Check-in was unpleasant. The staff seemed rushed and impatient. Breakfast was bleh, and both maintenance and ordinary housekeeping were terrible. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have to be in this area and truly have no other option.

The staff were warm and treated us like family, which made the stay feel comfortable and left me grateful. We got free afternoon tea and breakfast, and even though they were included, the food was tasty. You could tell the cook put effort into breakfast. Aleex Villa is surrounded by lovely scenery, and you can ask the staff there for a bike to ride around. The conditioner and shampoo were well-known brands and good quality, which put me at ease. :)

There’s a small restaurant in the building for drinks, meals, and finger food. We also enjoyed the free breakfast and tea, which tasted good, and the service was nice. The whole place was clean and tidy, with attractive decor and careful upkeep. It looked newly renovated, even in the bathroom. The atmosphere was really comfortable.
