We rented bicycles early in the morning to avoid Lunar New Year traffic and rode along the riverside path for some exercise. The riverside park sits just below the bridge, and we had a great ride. Downtown Yilan is also an easy walk across that bridge, with lots of places to eat. On this, my second stay, the jacuzzi was perfect for soaking with my son. There were sofa chairs that worked well for TV and meals, and the mattress was a little soft but fine. Parking is available outdoors on the property. It looks like some motel rooms have garages downstairs and rooms above. I first stayed here over Teachers' Day in 2015 and had a pleasant time, but this visit on the third day of Lunar New Year was even better.

I won't return. The room had a musty, smoky smell, and the TV screen was broken. The toilet paper was so small that it tore easily when pulled out. Also, what was described as a jacuzzi was just a large bathtub.

We were two adults with kids aged 1, 4, and 6. The room was spacious with a high ceiling, which the children loved, and nights were quiet and comfortable. Staff from housekeeping and service were very friendly. Breakfast had a nice range for grown-ups and children alike. They provided a crib, though it seemed better suited to babies who couldn't stand yet. The massage chair felt a bit dated, but it did help ease the tiredness of looking after the kids. Thumbs up!

We stayed here with our pets, and every staff member was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast lady was especially kind and even checked whether we'd eaten. The grounds were lovely, with a big courtyard where we could walk our dog. The in-room massage chairs helped soothe our tired bodies, too. We'd definitely come back when we're in Yilan again.
