The room was dirty, especially the toilet, and the air conditioning didn’t work. It’s a very old hotel inside, despite the resort-like exterior. The traditional door lock feels like a security concern, and each room gets just one key. The toilet seat is unusually low, and there’s only one pillow per person, so ask for extras if you need them. There weren’t any shops open after 9 pm. Newer hotels are nearby, and I wish I’d chosen one of those.

The free breakfast was my favorite part, especially with that lovely view. The staff were amazing, and both the hospitality and location were great. I’d definitely stay again.

The breakfast was basic, and noise carried between rooms. There was a damp smell in my room, and my sister had the same problem in hers. I also found bed bugs on one of the beds, so I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there. The hotel needs renovating.

The location worked well, close to the lake and food streets. We were there with a Taiwan tour group. My room was clean and decent, though the hotel is old. There’s a decent Chinese restaurant on the ninth floor of block B. I’d put the hotel at around two or three stars, so don’t expect four or five star standards and then complain.

It’s convenient enough to get around, but I couldn’t sleep well. The room is old, and the light never switches off completely. Both the air conditioning and fridge are extremely loud, so I had to turn them off. The AC unit outside was right beside the bed and kept disturbing me. If you need good sleep, consider another hotel.
