The owners are a young family, and they were so welcoming and patient with our six-year-old. We arrived very late on a rainy night, but they stayed up for us and even helped find a parking spot. They were kind and helpful the whole time. We stayed in the Japanese-style room on the fifth floor. It had been fully renovated and was stunning, brand new as of this summer, with beautiful wooden floors and a spotless, new-feeling bathroom. The location was great too, with little eateries and bike rental shops right outside and the port just a short walk away. A huge thank-you to the family. We’ll definitely return!

It’s very expensive and crowded. The owner stays nearby, and it feels like many pairs of eyes are watching you come and go.

There are lots of shops downstairs, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on a low floor, but it was roomy and comfortable, with a balcony that still had a view of Sun Moon Lake.

The owner and staff were brilliant, and the location is great. The port is close by for catching a boat, and you can also enjoy the market’s local food and attractions. There’s a nearby hiking trail that’s quite challenging. I’d recommend it for experienced hikers.

The entrance looks just like an entry to a shop, and the hotel is near the busy street at Ita Thao. The couples room was nice, though the weekend price felt quite expensive.
