My wife and I wanted to celebrate her birthday at midnight, but we couldn’t do that here. After speaking with the owner, we learned there was no way to get in after 11 pm. Agoda only noted that check-in was possible until 10 pm. It didn’t say the whole hotel would be closed at 11. Be careful, after that you’re locked in or out, with no way to enter or leave the “hotel.” It felt like a prison.

Be careful, you can’t get into the hotel after 11 pm. Agoda only mentioned check-in until 10 pm, not that the whole place would be locked after 11. I wanted to celebrate my birthday at 12 pm, but all the doors are locked by then. The owner just said those were the rules and that I should have read the notes more carefully.

The room was clean, and there’s an elevator. The owners were really nice and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. They have a designated parking spot, though it’s a bit tight to park in. Great value, and I’d stay again next time I visit Sun Moon Lake.

The lake trail is right across the street, with shops and places to eat just two blocks away. This small family-run B&B was fabulous, and I’ll definitely come back. Everything was extremely clean, the rooms had lovely hardwood decor, and breakfast each day was hearty. Our four-person room was huge, with a balcony patio, a second TV, and a seating area. The hot shower had strong water pressure, just right after a day out. The hosts were kind and helpful.

Such a lovely place. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy, and the location was good, close to the night markets. The staff were kind and very helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here and enjoying your trip to Sun Moon Lake!
